Why we love the school year programming.
It is not about entertainment, but pursuing excellence. The presupposed fact is that performance on the lacrosse field matters to you, and if it did not, you would not be there every day.
Therefore, we focus on what improves specific skills that translate immediately into on field performance.
I shared with the players yesterday a talk I heard that started with “champions really do not have a lot of choices.”
Speed work has to be done. Strength training needs to be intentionally designed to best maximize on field production. Skill work is required daily ! All topics we impress upon.
Our hope is that the leadership and elite environment inspires players to make the most of their opportuinty to have a career they are proud of. It is not mandatory, but likely a byproduct is that they will begin to care more about nutrition, sleep, and conditioning.
Players talk about “running 2 miles with my stick” before school. Not because we say this must be done, but because the culture gives permission for them to really go for it. It is exciting seeing players filled with the spirit of adventure - one that finds joy and hope in the uncertainty of potential.
A lot will happen in the coming weeks and months - we appreciate those who are a part of the program.

Onboarding !
For many, a fall sport has been sacrificed, which they loved, therefore, we take training very seriously and want to protect this environment.
For families who are unsure if your son or daughter will fit into the “skill level” we recommend a 1 on 1 session.
Please text 513-444-5199 to set that up.

Our girls High School indoor league starting November 3rd and going until February 3rd will be officially released in the coming days. Something we are very excited about.
Teaching players skills, dodging, and shooting is something we have done well, but if we cannot integrate lacrosse IQ then it is the equivalent of being able to speak “French” and being in Spain. It really doesn't matter or help. Therefore, Harrison and I look forward to coaching players in consistent game settings where we can work on that.
