School Year Schedule + Updates + Scholarship Link

Wrapping up week 10 of summer24 we will be saying goodbye to some of our college players as well as those involved with fall sports. However, there is a great group who will be continuing to train every day and we cannot wait to begin this next chapter.

-

August 14th the schedule will be adjusted for after school training. There is no “hard start” time, but it seems most players will be able to arrive around 4 o'clock to begin their speed/strength training, which will be followed by lacrosse training until 6:50/7:00 PM

*Players begin once they arrive and are ready.

-

Recently there have been many points of glory when comparing week 10 results with where players started in early June. It is a line I am sure many have heard, and translates perfectly our sentiments when it comes to teaching the game of lacrosse - “I hope you stay long enough to see the miracle.”

-

We are relatively aware of the social pressures players are under being recent graduates.

Harrison and I were constantly labeled “try-hards” in HS. Those around us were never shy about sharing their opinion... “you are going to regret not enjoying HS more…” or “You should make more memories with your classmates, have more fun..” What they didn’t understand was the more we defined our dreams the more our definition of words were ‘redefined.’ Fun did not mean what it used to mean. Training was fun. Being in the weight room late into the night on the weekends was our version of fun. Wrestling with potential was fun

It will be said by someone about almost every player who goes ALL IN… “you effort will be in vain..” Our message to the players daily - they are only right until they are not.

Someone could say Harrison and I were going to UNC to sit the bench… They were not wrong... until we got there and played every game of our careers.

‘They’ are right… until they are not. And thankfully, every day you have a chance to make a statement. With your effort, attitude, energy, and focus. 'They' won't be able to talk forever.

-

What do you lift so hard for?

Why do you train so much?

An identity Harrison and I have communicated is “master of meaning.” Our players make the ‘meaning’ as to why they train and lift so hard. It makes sense to them, it aligns with their dreams. Nevertheless, all answers can be misconstrued until they are self-evident. THIS is why we train so hard, so that the results are undeniable.

Going into this next chapter - we look forward to all those who will be joining.

YOUTH will continue to have Saturday training opportunities.

AND we also recommend reaching out to schedule a 1 on 1 lesson with any of our college players.(TEXT 513-444-5199) Most of them have trained with Harrison and I for 3+ years and can wonderfully teach the principles we share.
