Faith & Ava Sellet ( Future Akron STARS)
Faith & Ava Sellet ( Future Akron STARS)

Officially under a month from the first week of training.

Youth Director : Davis Whiting

  • Davis grew up attending the Summit Country Day School, after that he spent a year at Berkshire before attending High Point University - where he is now a current Captain on the team. There he leads the FCA meetings as well as other mentorship and leadership opportunities with athletes.

Defensive Academy :  Ethan Larsen

  • Ethan was a 2024 UNC Tar Heel Grad. He grew up in Stony Brook, New York. We are excited for the incredible resource he will be for defenders - learning from Coach Breschi, Coach Petrimala, and Kevin Uterstein - All USA team members as well as future HOF coaches.

  • TEXT 516-434-0028 to ask Ethan any questions or players you can introduce yourself.

Goalie Coach : Stefan Schroder

  • Stefan grew up in Syracuse, New York. OSU Grad, played professionally for Rotchester Rattlers and the Ohio Machine. Stefan has been passionate about teaching goalies since arriving in Ohio. We are very excited about the impact he will have on goalies locally. Stefan is currently the Moeller Head Coach.

Speed & Strength Coach : Brett Finnie

  • Since talking with Brett over a year ago about the strength program he has obsessed over the mission. Thinking and learning about how lacrosse athletes should be built to endure the rotational movements, intense cutting, and violent nature of the sport. The first conversation revolved around STRONG legs, DAILY core, and bullet proof shoulders / upper back for all the shooting, passing, and defensive checking. Also, speed, speed, speed, WITH mobility. The professionalization of athletes really begins in the weight room. Emphasizing how important it is to EAT, STRETCH, and understand good movements. We share daily, this is the difference between good vs GREAT. Putting in the uncomfortable time in the weight room and on the field for speed work, bringing plenty of food to eat between sessions, and staying hydrated in the summer heat. We are very excited for what Brett has planned this year.

ADDITIONALLY : We encourage all of our college players to be mentors in every session, they will not just train but lead as well. For all of them, it is our hope they get opportunities to teach the next generation, therefore, if you have a youth player who would like to do private lessons before getting in with the group this summer please text 513-444-5199 and I can get that set up for you.

We are very excited about the schedule and everything that is planned. The intention of every day is that players work hard, but also, have fun. For my brother and I few things beat the importance of MORAL. Making sure the proper spirit is there on the journey. In the end, this is a game. We want players to GROW, while making memories with their best friends. Yes, we take this very seriously, because it is, that being said, we also take having fun and enjoying the process seriously as well.
