Raise the Standard: Uniforms

Hey Players and Families!

Quick announcement. 

As we teach constantly at the academy, the dream is in the details. 

With the growing number of players and the coaches' continued resolution towards our north star - to be an elite lacrosse school that builds the best players around - we will constantly be making adjustments to ensure we are on track and on target. 

What underpins this? This weekend, it was rewarding to hear that 7 of the 8 All Americans (girls) have trained with us, and 5 of the 8 are part of the You. First and Academy family.

That’s the standard. And more-so, that’s what this place is about. Bring the best together, and build the best. Train people to lead and compete. Train players to play an entirely different game than their competition. 

That was the feedback we received the most this spring - the players are just different. 

It’s noticeable and undeniable. 

And next year, we aim for 8 of 8. 

We know though, the magic is not in each individual drill, but the consistency and intensity of 100-200-and-300 days stacked on top of each other. The magic is in showing up and letting the culture elevate you beyond where you thought you could be. 

That’s the point of this next adjustment: culture.

All of our coaches went to a school that required a uniform, played for teams that required a uniform, and of course in college required practice gear - there is something special about having pride for the brand, school, and group.

So we ask that this week, all ALL IN Members and anyone apart of the Summer Academy order uniform shirts for the week. On the website there are a multitude of options. And, for the rest of the week all gear will be ON SALE. 

We of course will still allow color on the bottoms!! That is the place for players to have their creative liberty, but on the top, we rep the brand. 

If shirts are not in by next week, please wear a shirt or tank with no design. 

Each design has meaning. Each design shares a message:

ALL IN: is our main mantra - to be great you have to be ALL IN. It takes every ounce of you, but gives more back than you can imagine. Not chosen by everyone, but those who do choose get to lead. 

You. First: Our signature You. logo that only can be read in the mirror. That’s what we care about the most - who do you see and what do you believe is possible for yourself. Loving, fighting for, and building the person you see in the mirror - that’s the gold.
