The CLA exists because of a shared vision—a community of players who know that excellence is earned, not given. This summer, we return to the foundation: training with purpose, building character, and going ALL IN.
Every summer tells a story. 2025 will reaffirm we are not here for easy—we’re here for transformation.
A belief, training is when many lasting memories are made, life lessons are tested, understood, and integrated.
We share this weekly, ‘growth is simple, but not easy.’ You must work hard, brutally hard, harder than most can imagine, but also, you will be proud, and have more fun than we can describe.
Harrison and I have a deep reverence for ‘training,’ it made us, and continues to. We do not take our role as leaders for granted, to push players limits mentally, physically, and emotionally is something we talk about daily and take seriously.Â
All of our coaches are focused on fostering a home for those who go ALL IN, a place rich with the resources and wisdom needed to see the journey through.
Is the academy only for the Elite players?
No, however, it is only for players who SINCERELY care - PASSIONATELY want it.
If your goal is to get better at lacrosse, or even ‘think’ you might want to get better at lacrosse, every day this summer you will have the opportunity to.Â
To the Youth, Middle School, High School, and our College players, we are excited for what is ahead. Another great summer - the standard only rises. Â
THE SUMMERÂ
Youth: A time to build strong foundations for fundamental movements. In the weight room, during speed work, and lacrosse training, the focus is on key principles, proper execution–This will have a huge impact on future success. From experience, the first couple weeks/months of working with older players is typically breaking bad habits. Investing this time now on quality movement will no doubt make massive impacts. More importantly, the development of traits such as discipline, patience, and mental / emotional toughness that come from pursuing a high skill sport like lacrosse will carry across all domains. Confronting ‘hard’ will not be foreign.Â
Middle School: Fully embraced, MS players will jump to that next level-Good to Great, Intro to Competent! Also, a critical detail, athletically they will be well prepared for High School sports. The weight room is something that takes time, but stacks and compounds. Strength and speed work are something almost every athlete undoubtedly wishes they started sooner. Start now. The summer will be a perfect opportunity for Middle School players to embrace this and begin to fully embody what it takes. Speed, strength, skill work, and during drills they will get to know the standard. As we would encourage, ‘Give your future self a chance to accomplish something very unique, go ALL IN.’
Harrison and I wish we could go back and thank our 7th grade selves. That is who made five amazing years at UNC possible.Â
High School: For those who want to play college lacrosse, prepare for college lacrosse, or are curious if it is possible, this is your opportunity. The summer will be a ‘college environment’ by every standard of the definition. This ‘culture shock’ that is necessary, will not just benefit every HS player involved, but set the standard for MS players who will follow in their footsteps. 10-12 weeks well executed can change everything - we have seen it many times. Skill acquisition is not biased, the results go to the one who works for them. Training alongside our college players will be great, not just for learning purposes, but to see what it takes physically and mentally.Â
College Players: A 10-12 week training camp to be fully prepared for the first semester of fall lacrosse season. Refine skills, be very confident in one on one matchups, and be ready for any conditioning test you may have. Â

As we share with players ‘put no limitations on what is possible when just committed to doing work.’
We want players who hold tight to a dream and won’t easily let it go- combined with our amazing group of coaches, summer 2025 will be epic.
PLEASE, fill out the form so we can quickly get out a potential schedule and share information directly to you. We are planning on the morning training window being from 8:45-12:45, however, ‘start time’ and ‘end time’ will be different for age groups.Â
