The function of leadership is to produce more leaders...

The success seen the past couple months from players has been inspiring. The work of building players continues to be broken down and refined to its most simple and efficient form. Techniques being taught are not what Harrison and I learned in our youth, but the past 1-3 years of playing lacrosse at UNC and teaching the game. Those who have received the information ready to learn have improved at an amazing pace. Our weekend training sessions have been high energy and incredible opportunities for players to take their game to the next level, but we seek to continually provide more.

That being said, Harrison and I love large group sessions, but began teaching the game in small settings with 1-4 players. This is when mentorship begins and when players can really communicate the difficulties they face in the game. We desire to deliver this and are excited to launch new opportunities within the Lacrosse Academy.

From the start we have had the theme “We build players,” and now are able to add “that build players.” For the last couple months Harrison and I have been working to boil down our shooting, catching, passing, and doodging principles so that they can be learned and taught by our best. A drill catalog will be continually updated with drills, and our principles for each skill will maintain the high quality instruction that we desire.

This is an awesome opportunity for youth players to take their game to the next level, especially those more interested in an individual setting where they can ask questions and take time to fully understand the skills.

Our ‘Academy Certified’ coaches will have their schedules laid out and locations picked for training options around Southern Ohio.

The next generation of college players are looking forward to working with the future of the sport!
